Giving back through grant funding

Are you a charity or not-for-profit focused on education, the environment, or community development? Apply for one of our grants worth up to $25,000.

If you are a charity/not-for-profit in need of funding, please consider applying to our Giving Back Program. The goal of this program is to support initiatives across Canada that address social and environmental barriers in order to create long-term value in the areas of education, environment, and community well-being.

Our window for applications closes on November 30, 2020. In December, the RBH Giving Back Committee will assess all applications and notify selected charities/not-for-profits by the end of 2020. In January 2021, RBH will work with selected charities to initiate final approvals.

Simply click here to be redirected to our application form. If you have any questions about the program, feel free to reach out to givingback@rbhinc.ca

Giving Back through Sustainability

RBH’s approach to sustainability creates long-term value while minimizing the impacts associated with our products, operations, and value chain.

Our commitment to a smoke-free future involves many initiatives that align with the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. We strive to improve in areas where we can make the greatest impact.

Good Health and Well-Being: A Smoke-Free Future in Canada

RBH is committed to ensuring that any changes in our products do not increase the inherent risk associated with smoking. We only market to adult smokers and ensure that our market efforts are honest and accurate. RBH supports and will to continue to support the Government of Canada’s goal of reducing smoking rates to 5% of the population by 2035. We think that by working together, we can make Canada smoke-free faster.

RBH will continue to develop and introduce smoke-free alternatives to the Canadian market that use new technology and non-combustible products to assist the Government of Canada in achieving this goal.

Decent Work and Economic Growth

RBH is transforming its business in a way that promotes collaboration, inclusion, and diversity. We will continue to provide compensation and benefits that are at or above the Canadian market medians.

Gender Equality

RBH provides opportunities for women to assume roles on the management and executive teams. Gender equality is not only an internal objective of RBH but is also prioritized in our community sustainability efforts through partnerships with local women’s charities and food banks.

Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions

RBH has developed a comprehensive policy framework to ensure that corruption and bribery are avoided by all employees and third-parties and that all engagements with vendors, stakeholders, governments, and consumers are transparent and conducted with integrity. Included in our policy is that we do not provide any political donations to uphold our high standards of responsible business practices.

Additionally, RBH continues to work with local law enforcement and government to combat the illicit trade of tobacco. RBH supports the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) and works with organizations, such as Crime Stoppers Canada, to increase public awareness about the negative impacts of contraband tobacco.
